Since we launched in August the entire Duuoo team have been working hard to update the platform with new features that make the use of Duuoo even better for our users. We have made a lot of different improvements to Duuoo since the launch and in addition, we are now ready to present three major updates to the platform.
These updates are updates that we ourselves have been very much looking forward to releasing and they will hopefully also make the use of Duuoo much easier for our users.
The team settings page has been updated with a whole new way of managing teams and people in Duuoo.
The new and improved format allows for an easier and more intuitive management and also allows for you to set other team members as managers as well as yourself. This means you can easily create the teams needed in your company, so everybody can get started right away. Furthermore, you can now access team settings if you want to change the name or members in the team.
We have now made it possible to integrate calendars into Duuoo, which makes it easier to find the right time slot for 1-on-1 meetings between managers and team members.
The integration means that you can see both your and your team member’s existing meetings on the viewed day and will prevent you of making any double bookings. With this new calendar integration, meetings set up in Duuoo no longer stand the risk of being pushed due to prior engagements planned in the same time slot.
Furthermore, we have made it possible to pick a recurring day of the week where it is most fitting for you to have 1-on-1s. The Duuoo platform will then go in and remember that for the next meeting, so when you have to pick a date for it, your day of choice will come up first. In addition, the preferred time and frequency will also be remembered.
We support the most popular email clients such as Gmail, Outlook 365, Exchange, Outlook or iCloud so this new integration should be useful to a lot of users.
Lastly, we are very excited to release our new feature which enables you to chose to conduct your 1-on-1s on a biweekly frequency.
1-on-1s are in general an excellent driver for engagement, motivation and inspiration. Furthermore, they increase employee retention. With a biweekly 1-on-1 structure, there is also additional focus on enhancing the effectiveness of the whole team and yourself as a leader, as the biweekly 1-on-1s put extra focus on operations and performance. This is carried out in the form of two operational questions being posed at the end of each meeting.
For a biweekly 1-on-1 meeting cadence, we believe that this 50/50 distribution is a perfect balance between operations and intrinsic topics.

On average, a biweekly meeting will take 20-30 minutes. Investing approximately these 20-30 minutes every two weeks on your most valuable asset, your employees, will definitely pay off multiple times. At the end of the day, employees and managers depend on one another to be successful.
Whether you chose the monthly or the biweekly 1-on-1 structure, Duuoo takes care of all the logistics of the 1-on-1 meetings and helps managers have more insightful conversations with their team members.
